We use slicer panels as a way to hide the granular details of a report, such as descriptions or further information, as well as additional slicers. Slicer panels are best left until the report is complete, as we'll be using bookmarks.
Start by grouping each of your components, including the navigation bar. Then, go to 'View' > 'Selection' and rename each of the grouped components accordingly (e.g. Donut, Nav Bar, etc).
Select and copy your slicer panel from the 'Navigation Bar' file. You'll need to ensure you select the correct slicer panel depending on the layout of your report (vertical/horizontal).
Paste your slicer into your report (no need to move this, the correct positioning should be automatically applied).
Update the data within your slicer panel accordingly, including relevant slicers and text. Then, rename your grouped slicer panel component to "Slicer Panel".
Ensure your slicer is visible and in the correct position on the page.
Go to 'view' > 'bookmarks' and 'add' a new bookmark.
Rename bookmark to "show slicer panel" and untick 'data' on the bookmarks 'More Options' three ellipses.
Go to 'view' > 'selection" and find your grouped slicer panel and click to hide the slicer panel element.
Once hidden, go back 'view' > 'bookmark' and 'add' a new bookmark.
Rename the bookmark to "hide slicer panel" and untick 'data' on the bookmarks 'More Options' three ellipses.
